Modern Heart

The Modern Heart stamp set plus the Blushing Bride ink and cardstock equals a match made in heaven.

Elevate the embossed heart with some Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a couple pieces of rose gold bling from the Metalic Brads embellishments. Then maybe tie a crisp white ribbon, and we have such a sweet thank you card.

The largest Stitched Rectangles die was used to cut the Blushing Bride layer: 5 1/4” x 4” and second largest rectangle was used to cut the Whisper White layer: 5” x 3 3/4”. The largest Stitched Shapes circle was used to cut the embossed heart layer: 3” diameter. All pieces were affixed to a piece of Whisper White Thick cardstock: 4 1/4” x 11” scored at 5 1/2”.

To achieve the bolder gold heart shown below on the left, I stamped the image first using So Saffron ink, then stamped again using Versa Mark ink, followed by a dusting with the embossing powder and application of the heat tool. To achieve the lighter gold on the right, I skipped the So Saffron layer. I prefer the bolder gold. The embossing powder I used is retired. I would recommend the current Stampin’ Gold embossing powder to achieve a very similar result.
