My Stampin’ Up! Granny Apple Green ink pad with refill has arrived and I have been playing with this gorgeous color.
I paired this bright spring green with the dark, Early Espresso chocolate brown, which is not one of my “go to” colors but is absolutely perfect for these Nature’s Beauty forest creatures.
To frame the edges, I used the Stitched Rectangles dies, which I do reach for often. To secure the rectangles, I used the Snail Adhesive, which really makes the taping/gluing task so simple. I adhered the layered rabbit image using Stampin’ Dimensionals which add . . . well . . . dimension, always stepping up the level of satisfaction a notch.
For a touch of understated flair, I used eyelets and this 28 gauge wire which I picked up at the craft store. I opted for no sentiment on the front, and left the inside blank, so these versatile little cards could be used for any occasion, or just a note to say, “You are on my mind”.
For every purchase of the Nature’s Beauty stamp set, Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 to a mental health organization in your community. What a wonderful way to give back. I think this stamp set is the epitome of peaceful, and have really enjoyed creating with these lovely images. The detail on the animals and trees is exceptional.
A couple other coordinating products from Stampin’ Up! are the Textured Weave Ribbon, and these Stampin’ Blends pens which come in Light and Dark Granny Apple Green, as well as the ink refill. The Designer Series Paper also comes in Granny Apple Green and can be found in the Brights collection.
