Winds of Change

A long time ago my mother and aunt went to a summer festival in a quaint little town called Oak Harbor, which is on Whidbey Island in Washington State. They bought this adorable trivet for me as a souvenir.
Years later, I came upon the Winds of Change stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! 2019 collection.
The combination of fond memories and this lovely stamp set was a recipe for a delightful afternoon of joyful crafting.
Stampin’ Up! offers these three gorgeous blues. Night of Navy is a favorite, and Blueberry Bushel would likely be the best color match for this rich blue shown above, but I settled on the beautiful Pacific Point for the project.
The result was the following set of cards.
The sentiments are so sweet.
Little poetic analogies.
Has this Winds of Change set inspired you? I would love to hear your thoughts!

Stampin’ Up! supplies used: Stamp Set: Winds of Change; Paper: Whisper White Thick cardstock, Whisper White cardstock and envelopes, Pacific Point Cardstock; Ink: Pacific Point; Dies: Stitched Rectangles

  1. I have always wanted to visit Holland and see the windmills and tulips. Your card is just lovely. I like the monochromatic color. Sharing your trivet and memories with us is special. Merry Christmas!

      1. I would be happy going to Holland, Michigan. Maybe one day. I think I will get the set and make Easter cards with it.
